Additive Extrusion for Continuous Fiber Reinforced Structures

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In cooperation with DLR
Additive extrusion describes a process in which a component is produced in strands by continuous material conveying. By integrating continuous fiber rovings in this process, it is possible to produce efficient lightweight structures without complex tooling. Topics presented focus on existing approaches as well as the challenges for a successful industrialisation.
